Brendan Oliver is a history enthusiast who enjoys researching the past. He lives in Crown Point with his wife and daughter.

Bev Wagar caught the gardening bug in 2001 and can't shake the symptoms: addiction to seed catalogues, soil, and plants; compulsive use of trowel and spade; fascination with flowers and all the life in the garden; being a gardening activist; and spreading the joy of growing things. With a smattering of education in English literature, editing, horticulture, Bev has her diploma in Organic Land Care and provides ecological garden design. When she's not gardening Bev enjoys choral singing, road cycling, knitting, sewing, and hanging out with her husband Sean Hurley and their dog Lucky.

Sean Hurley lives in Crown Point, loves dogs, and has an interest in municipal governance.
