Invitation to Gage Park Wheelchair Swing Official Ribbon Cutting
September 19 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 pm
Celebrating our community based wins feel more important than ever in this pandemic. On Saturday, September 19th at 10am, you are cordially invited to virtually attend the ribbon cutting of the City’s FIRST wheelchair swing. This swing is one step towards more inclusive play and to ensure our playgrounds are truly accessible. In order to continue to prioritize safety and to keep properly distanced in small groups, please email Ward3@Hamilton.ca if you or someone you know would really like to attend in person.
The entire ribbon cutting will be livestreamed via Councillor Nann’s Social Media channels.
Important: The City’s official ribbon cutting protocol recommends virtual events wherever possible, and a limited number of attendees in person. Everyone is encouraged to attend via Councillor Nann’s Live Facebook and Instagram feeds.
For those wishing to attend in person, please have them reach out to the office directly, so we can ensure appropriate safety measures.
