Last weekend, a multiple alarm incident devastated our neighbours on Rosslyn Ave N in Crown Point west, with fire causing serious damage to one home, including multiple pets having perished and one resident being treated for smoke inhalation, and significant smoke and water damage to the adjacent residence.
A close friend of the family who lost their pets, has started a gofundme campaign titled ‘Kenny’s Kids’, in an effort to help this family of 7 get back on their feet from securing housing, to replacing their belongings which were all lost in the fire..
We are thinking of all of those involved as they struggle to get back on their feet during these already trying times.
If you can help Kenny, his wife Ashley, and their five kids ranging from 3 to 9 years of age whether financially or even by sharing the link to their gofundme campaign, it would mean a lot to them.
We here at The Point are deeply saddened at the loss of this families pets and their belongings, but are glad everyone made it out safely.
